Privacy

Recall Rancher is a game that grows while you study. It keeps as little about you as it can.

What we store

  • Your email address, used only to sign you in. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address and nothing else — no contacts, no Drive, no profile browsing.
  • A username you choose. This is public: other players can see it on the leaderboard and when they visit your farm.
  • How many cards you answered, and when. Only the count and a timestamp. We never see your decks, your card contents, your answers, or how well you did.
  • Your farm. What you built and what you own, in the game.

What the Anki add-on sends

The add-on counts answered cards and sends batches of how many, and at what time — nothing else. It holds a device token scoped to that one job. It cannot read your account, and it never uploads deck or card data. You can revoke a device at any time by creating a new token in Settings.

What we don't do

No advertising, no analytics or tracking pixels, no selling or sharing of data with third parties, and no email beyond sign-in links.

Children

You must be 13 or older to use Recall Rancher. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Deleting your data

Email privacy@recallrancher.com and we will delete your account, your farm, and your card history. Deletion cascades: nothing about you is retained afterwards.

Where it lives

Accounts and farms are stored with Supabase (Postgres). Sign-in emails are sent by Resend. Both process this data solely to run the service.
